In my musical journey, I’ve been involved in many different types of performance situations.  While playing cover band music and jazz standards can be a musically enjoyable experience, there is always something missing in the act of playing music that someone else wrote.

For creative musicians who have a desire to experience music fully, there’s a need to become innovative in the way we see music.  And by innovative I don’t mean invent a smart phone.  I mean, get into the core of what music is, and learn how to make everything we play our own.  When we experience our favorite music, for instance, something in us binds to it, and sees it in our own likeness.
